LS Retail - Legal Intern

Summer internship

Are you looking to gain some experience in an exciting, international company?

If so, we at LS Retail are searching for a talented legal intern to join us this summer!
This is a great opportunity to see what in-house corporate law is all about while getting hands-on legal experience.

The main responsibilities of this position include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts and agreements. This role would be working with our Head of legal to ensure that all LS Retail policies and procedures are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.

Main assignments:

  • Assist with analyzing and reviewing legal documents
  • Assist with tax matters such as Transfer Pricing and local filings
  • Perform legal research and prepare the appropriate reports and summaries
  • Assist with management of contracts, third-party agreements, and vendor relationships
  • Assist with managing the company's business insurance coverages, including global policies
  • Assist with organizing Company Intellectual Property, including but not limited to trademarks, patents, and trade secrets
  • Responds to inquiries from regulatory agencies, customers, and the business community
  • Monitor and review government regulations, and help develop internal policies, procedures, and programs that comply with them

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in law
  • Pursuing a Master's degree in law (MA graduates also welcome to apply!)
  • Knowledge and understanding of corporate and tax law and procedures
  • High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and sound judgement
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills that endure under pressure
  • Proficient English and interpersonal skills required for a diverse, multicultural environment
